6/28/22, Just before 8:30 PM, the West Haven Fire Department received two calls stating the pavilion of the Polish American Club was on fire. West Haven Fire and Allingtown Fire responded on the initial call. Engine 25 of West Haven arrived on scene and transmitted a working fire as they found one half of the pavilion to be on fire. With this, the West Shore Fire Department was added to the assignment. Engine 25 made a quick knock down of the fire and contained it to only one half of the pavilion. West Haven and Allingtown companies operated on scene for about an hour. The West Haven Fire Marshal is investigating.
