9/7/22: Just after 8:00 PM, New Haven Firefighters responded to 167 Orange Street for reports of smoke coming from the basement of a building. Upon arrival, Engine 4 confirmed they had a light smoke condition in a three story building. Car 32 then arrived on scene and transmitted a working fire (Signal 73). Companies chased a smoke condition through the building for several minutes. The source was then located to be behind a stove and companies checked for any extension. Shortly after, the incident was placed under control.
