8/13/22: Just before 8:00 PM, New Haven Firefighters responded to 29 Mill River Street for a reported house on fire. While enroute, New Haven Fire Dispatch informed Car 33 they were reciving multiple calls that heavy black smoke could be seen coming from the structure. Engine 10 then arrived on scene and transmitted a working fire (Signal 73) for fire on the rear side of a 2.5 wood residential. Firefighters were able to advance into the structure and make a quick knock of the mostly exterior fire. Companies were on scene operating for about an hour.
