Just before 3PM, the East Haven Fire Department began receiving multiple calls for a house fire on Waldo Street. Car 4 arrived on scene and transmitted a working fire for heavy fire from the B side of a 1.5 wood private dwelling. Multiple hand lines were stretched and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze. Branford fire also responded to this fire with Engine 1 and Medic 1 as mutual aid.
