11/2/22: Just after 11:30 PM, the Bridgeport Fire Department began receiving multiple calls for a house fire in the area of Valley Circle and Chopsey Hill Road. While enroute Engine 12 reported they had a header and to transmit the working fire. On arrival, Engine 12 had heavy fire showing from the rear of a 1 story private dwelling. While Engine 12 made a push, battalion 1 arrived on scene and requested a second alarm due to the volume of fire. Companies stretched and operated four lines and with a good interior push, firefighters were able to knock the main body of fire down in about a half hour.
